Patient Advocate

Patient advocates advise and help you with medical and dental benefit concerns within this facility. 

Beneficiary Counseling and Assistance Coordinator/Debt Collection Assistance Officer 

The BCAC is available to provide advice and counseling regarding health benefits and benefit options available from military facilities, federally funded health programs, state and county programs, and other sources. This advice is given to military personnel, their family members and retired service personnel and their family members. 

Included in the above programs are the following: TRICARE Prime, TRICARE Select, TRICARE Plus, Medicare, Medicaid, and the TRICARE Dental Plan. This dental plan is available only to active duty family members.  

The DCAO is available to help with resolving debt collections due to unpaid TRICARE claims. The debt must be in collections or listed on your credit report and a copy must be provided to the DCAO. 
The BCAC/DCAO office is located at BHC Makalapa, Building 1407, Room 309. 

Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE)
