Red Hill Clinic

 
The Red Hill Clinic provides care to active duty service members and other beneficiaries experiencing symptoms they believe may be related to the Red Hill fuel spill, between the dates of Nov. 20, 2021, and March 18, 2022.

The clinic also provides care to those community members who may have been exposed to the Red Hill fuel spill and meet the requirements of the recent Department of Defense decision to extend care to civilians who may have been impacted by the fuel spill. This group consists of potential patients who lived or worked full- or part-time, on-base or in a DOD facility, serviced by the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Water Distribution System and who are experiencing long-term symptoms that may be related to the Red Hill fuel spill.

Do You Have Symptoms?

 Common symptoms following exposure to petroleum-contaminated water include, but are not limited to:
  • Upset stomach
  • Stomach cramps
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Throat and mouth irritation

Where is the Clinic Located?

 The Red Hill Clinic is located at Naval Health Clinic Hawaii’s Branch Health Clinic – Makalapa, on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The clinic offers primary care appointments. Specialty care referrals may be offered on a space-available basis. Access to specialty care is currently limited due to staffing.

How Do I Make an Appointment?

You can make an appointment by calling the Nurse Advice Line at 800-874-2273, select Option 1, and requesting an appointment at the Red Hill Clinic. The Nurse Advice Line is available 24/7.
 
The clinic’s hours are Tuesdays, 8 a.m. – noon, and Thursdays, 1 – 4 p.m.; walk-in services aren’t available.
