Undersea Medicine
NHCH Undersea Medicine Clinic (UM) operates as a division under the Occupational Health Department. UM supports all Hawaii Department of Defense Commands that do not have an Undersea Medicine Officer (UMO) assigned to them. This includes Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Naval Submarine Support Center, Commander Submarine Force Pacific, Naval Submarine Testing Center Pacific, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, and more. The NHCH UMO serves as the Diving Medical Officer for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Dive Locker.
Patients do not need a consult to be seen for an Undersea Medicine physical or evaluation.
