Community Health Promotion



The Health Promotions Team is available to encourage a healthy lifestyle and provide assistance and resources for active duty, their families and retirees on the following topics:
  • Healthy eating
  • Active living
  • Tobacco free living
  • Reproductive and sexual health
  • Psychological and emotional well-being
  • Injury and violence-free living
  • Preventing drug abuse and excessive alcohol use
  • Weight management
  • Etc.
The team helps to maintain and reinforce healthy behaviors, and reduce risky behaviors that can contribute to preventable illnesses and injuries.

Location:

The Health Promotions office is located in the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Fitness Center: 1071 N Rd #1338, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI 96860. The team can be found on the second floor, Classroom 2. Hours of Operation are 0600-1430.
